Breakdown of Structural and Cohesion Funds in Portugal

With the recent adoption of the Portuguese Partnership Agreement on the use of European Structural and Investment Funds, the allocations of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), European Social Fund (ESF) and Cohesion Fund (CF) have been clearly defined. The biggest fund that will co-fund Cohesion Policy in Portugal will expectedly be ERDF, which will amount to 10.773 million EUR. ESF will co-finance different eligible projects with 7.546 million EUR. Co-funding that will be available through CF will amount to 2.812 million EUR. The graph below depicts Cohesion Policy co-funding allocations for the programming period 2014-2020.
