During the meeting of the College of Commissioners on June 17th, President Juncker decided to set up a new permanent service - Structural Reform Support Service. The Structural Reform Support Service will be coordinated by Vice-President Dombrovskis. The Service will use the expertise and know-how of the Task Force for Greece and the Support Group for Cyprus. The Structural Reform Support Service will offer technical assistance to the Member States in order to facilitate their administrative and structural reforms. It will be housed by the Secretariat-General and will start its operations on 11th of July. 

Technical assistance will be offered to help Member States absorb and use EU funds effectively. It will also offer support, in the areas of revenue management and public finance, improvement of business environment, assistance with employment, social inclusion and public health. It will also play a supporting role in development of efficient, modern, service-oriented public administrations and public procurement practices.
