On 29 November Bulgarian ministers presented a plan to increase the use of structural funds in the field of environment. The plan covers the accelaration of investments in the water and waste treatment, expanding the scope to new priorities like energy efficiency, for instance district heating, as well as urban transport. Major infrastructure projects (i.e. the Struma Motorway) have also been raised.
