The Long Term Investment and Reindustrialisation Intergroup of the European Parliament will hold its first inaugural conference in the Committee of the Regions on 13 April 2015, in the presence of Jirky Tapani Katainen, the European Commission Vice-President for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness, and Prof. Franco Bassanini, President of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. 

The intergroup gathers 70 Members of the European Parliament coming from all relevant committees, with the support of 30 organisations representing both the public and private financial spheres and the actors of the real economy.
